“Ballerina in Toronto” mixed media, 28.5x36cm(each) (2012)

This is a triptych. The ballerina in this work represents me. The background image was shot in Toronto where to me is second home. The sky and the tears shed by ballerina connote my internal pain. And the dinosaur in the background represents the obstacle and external pain. Also the cats from each panel represent companion.In this piece, epoxy was also used to give an effect of freezing the moment.
