"내가 만약 길양이라면" 1채널 비디오, 9분 4초 (2019) "If I were a street cat" 1ch. video, 9min 4sec. (2019)

서초구청에서 지원받아 서리풀청년아트갤러리에서 진행한 전시에서 서초캣맘들의 도움으로 찍은 영상들을 편집하고 나의 생각을 고양이들에게 이입시켜 자막을 넣은 다큐멘터리 형식의 영상이다. 이 영상 또한 오직 초록과 파란색만을 이용하여 고양이가 보는 세상을 만들었다.

 

This documentary-style video was created from footage filmed with the support of local cat caregivers (cat moms) in Seocho, during an exhibition held at Seoripul Youth Art Gallery with funding from the Seocho District Office. By editing these videos and projecting my own thoughts onto the cats through subtitles, I sought to give voice to their presence and perspective.

This work also constructs a visual world seen through the eyes of cats, using only green and blue tones to reflect their unique way of perceiving color.
