2003년 2월 18일에 있었던 중앙로화재사건에 대해 뒤늦게 2018년에 대구에 내려오면서 처음 접하게 되었다. 부족하지만 작업을 통해 희생자들을 추모하고자 하는 마음에서 사고가 일어난 지 16년 그리고 한 달 뒤인 2019년 3월 18일 라이브 드로잉을 진행했다.

I first learned about the Jungangno Subway Fire, which occurred on February 18, 2003, only later, when I moved to Daegu in 2018. Although belated, I wished to commemorate the victims through my work. With this intention, I carried out a live drawing on March 18, 2019—sixteen years and one month after the tragic incident.
