동전 안 이미지를 보면, 중요한 업적을 남긴 인물 또는 국보 등 긍정적인 의미를 가진다. 동전 10원 속 국보 다보탑을 거꾸로 배치시키거나 해체함으로써 돈의 가치에 대해 묻고자 했다.
Images depicted on coins typically carry positive meanings, such as figures of historical achievement or nationally treasured cultural symbols. In this work, I invert and deconstruct Dabotap Pagoda—the National Treasure featured on the 10 won coin. Through this deliberate substitution, I seek to question the values we assign to money and what is revered, preserved, or sacrificed in the name of economic worth.
